About

I opened the Law Offices of George L. Bischof, PLLC in 2005 to  focus on estate planning (wills and trusts) and estate adminstration (probate).

Several factors distinguish an engagement with my firm.  For wills and trusts, once I have a sense of the project, I charge a flat fee.  Because I am in solo practice, I can deliver a level of service and attention unavailable with big firm economics.

Families use my services to protect their loved ones and to be financially responsible.  I help people discuss their plans, and then I draft clear, binding documents.  When young children are involved, my clients are assured that the right people will become guardians/trustees and that those fiduciaries will have appropriate guidance.  Clients who have children with special needs, children of a prior marriage, or same-sex partners also benefit from specific tailored provisions.

With proper planning, many of my clients lower or entirely eliminate estate tax exposure, leaving more for their relatives, friends, and charities.

My firm also works in the probate courts to assist clients with a smooth estate administration, advising executors/administrators, beneficiaries, creditors, trustees, and other interested parties.
